Ken of “Greater Phoenix Attorney at Law Magazine” interviews Phoenix personal injury lawyer Chris Zachar on being selected Solo Practitioner Of The Month, November 2010:

Ken: Chris, we talked about all the different credentials it takes to be Board Certified – how many attorneys are there that are actually Board Certified attorneys?

Chris Zachar: In the State of Arizona, I don’t have an exact number but I can tell you by far it is a minority of the attorneys in the state of Arizona that practice personal injury are actually board certified. The requirements are pretty rigorous. You have to try a lot of cases and it is a pretty hefty application process, you have to have the approval of other people in your same field, of opposing counsel, and of judges. There are a lot of attorneys who try cases, but a good majority of those just don’t have the number of trials under their belt or the credentials that are necessary to become board certified. Very, very few do.
